Photo Booth, iMovie, and Messages mentioned there are installed by Mac OS X. QuickTime X and some other parts of OS X can also use your camera. Simply launch the app you want to use and enjoy. Each app's Help function will tell you how the camera works for the different functions the different apps provide. I currently have 28 ip cameras that I monitor from my macbook pro. I originally had the ipcamera viewer software but they quit upgrading it with new camera profiles so I had to get the ipcamera viewer 2 software because I got a newer camera and they only supported it on the ipcamera viewer 2 software. Hi,
How to make space in macbook. Microsoft rolled out the automatic update to the Windows 10 Fall Creators edition (late 2017). Windows has duly proceeded to update itself in Bootcamp, but the camera is no longer recognised. It seems to be a driver issue. However, Windows refuses to install the existing driver for the camera. The message says it's 'not intended for this platform'.
I've tried uninstalling the camera in Windows, and using the built-in function to 'update' the driver. Neither has worked.
